Beyond Magical: Gyeongbukgong Palace

Where would you go if you could travel back in time?

Without a doubt, I’d be in Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Coined as the “Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven”, this fortress is a must-see for tourists who have a strong penchant for culture and history. The Hanoks, picturesque gates and well-crafted pavilions will make you wish you lived at the time of the Joseon Dynasty.

Hanok - A traditional Korean House
Geunjeongjeon Hall - Throne Hall of the King

Geoncheonggung - Private Royal Residence

We were too engrossed that it took us three hours to explore the walled city. Well, half of the time was spent on picture-taking…

...And photo-bumming.

While the Autumn leaves make it even more dramatic than it already is,

I think of all the "what ifs" in a place as beautiful as this.

Gyeonghoeru - Royal Banquet Hall

The place is beyond magical. And just by looking at these photographs, I already get a fleeting moment of bliss.
